STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARATION
A State of Emergency is hereby declared in the Village/Town of Mount Kisco effective at 12:00 PM on September 29, 2023.
This State of Emergency has been declared due to a heavy rain event causing flooding throughout the Village.
This situation threatens the public safety.
This State of Emergency will remain in effect until rescinded by a subsequent order.
As the Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, I, Edward W. Brancati, exercise the authority given me under Section 24 of the New York State Executive Law, to preserve the public safety and hereby render all required and available assistance vital to the security, well-being, and health of the citizens of this Village. I hereby direct all departments and agencies of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco to take whatever steps necessary to protect life and property, public infrastructure, and provide such emergency assistance deemed necessary.
Por la presente se declara un estado de emergencia en el pueblo / ciudad de Mount Kisco a partir de la 12:00 PM del 29 de septiembre de 2023.
Este estado de emergencia ha sido declarado debido a un evento de fuertes lluvias que causó inundaciones en todo el pueblo.
Esta situación amenaza la seguridad pública.
Este Estado de permanecerá en vigor hasta que sea rescindido por una orden posterior.
Como administrador de la aldea / ciudad de Mount Kisco, yo, Edward W. Brancati, ejerzo la autoridad que me otorga la Section 24 de la Ley Ejecutiva del Estado de Nueva York, para preservar la seguridad pública y por la presente hacer que toda la asistencia requerida y disponible sea vital para la seguridad, el bienestar y la salud de los ciudadanos de esta aldea.
