Since December 2017, Gina Marie De Bernardo Picinich has had the honor of serving as Mayor of the Town/Village of Mount Kisco. An experienced senior executive in the private sector, Gina was elected in an independent campaign (4MK ballot line) , and reelected in 2019. Gina is working with all Village resources to make local government accountable and responsive to the needs of all residents, property and business owners in the village. Gina is known for fairness and seeking middle ground to find practical solutions to challenges.

Gina had demonstrated success through her professional career in the areas of customer service, organizational development, project and financial management, marketing and internal communications. Gina has successfully lead teams to meet corporate goals in her roles as Product Support Manager, Customer Service Director, National Training Director, Vice President Professional and Organizational Development, and Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and education. As Co-Executive Director of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce, Gina has worked closely with local businesses, community organizations and village government.

As former member of the Bedford Central School District Budget Advisory Committee, Gina has been a staunch advocate for the residents of Mount Kisco. She has worked with leaders across the school district to advocate for additional funding from local and state legislators. Gina is a founding member of BCSD Together, a group that works to educate taxpayers on school district issues.

Gina has been engaged in a variety of community activities. She has volunteered in leadership roles at Mount Kisco Elementary School PTO and Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse. As a member of Saint Patrick’s parish, Gina has been the coordinator of the Children’s Liturgy Program and a Catechist in the CCD Program.

Gina is the Treasurer of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association and is a member of the Executive Board of the Association of Towns

Gina and her husband Nick have made Mount Kisco their home for twenty years. They are blessed to have two wonderful daughters Anna and Nicole.
