In June 2020 County Executive Latimer formed an advisory board to examine and make recommendations regarding WCPD policy, procedure, training and accountability.
The task force is comprised of residents from across Westchester County. We were fortunate to have Karine Patino-Benavides and Shondra Floyd McClary representing Mount Kisco. (Tom Luzio, a Mount Kisco resident was also on the committee.)
After extensive work and using information gathered from public hearings in August and October, the Task Force released their report to the County Legislature for review.
