Water Regulations Level I Water Use Restrictions

 Now, Therefore, I, Edward W. Brancati, Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, acting pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 105-4(a) of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, do hereby promulgate the following regulations for the use of water in the Village/Town of Mount Kisco.

LEVEL I WATER USE RESTRICTIONS
a)      No person shall serve water to a customer in a restaurant except upon the specific request of such customer.  It shall be the responsibility of the owner of the restaurant to ensure compliance with this restriction.

b)      No person shall use water to clean a driveway or sidewalk.

c)      No person shall use water at the exterior of an odd numbered property on an even-numbered day.  No person shall use water at the exterior of an even-numbered property on an odd numbered day.  For purposes of this provision, a property having no number will be considered to be an odd-numbered property.

d)      No person shall water a lawn or garden except between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 am and between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on permitted day pursuant to paragraph (c) above.

e)      Cars and other vehicles may be washed using water from a bucket or other container.

        Pursuant to section 105-4 and section 105-5 of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco the violation of any of these regulations is punishable by a fine of not less than $250.00 nor more than $1,000.00, or fifteen (15) days imprisonment, or both, or, for corporate offenders, a fine of not less than $1,000.00 nor more than $2,500.00.
