Mission:
The Assessor prepares an assessment roll of all real property, vacant and improved, within the coterminous Village and Town boundaries of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, establishing the condition, value and taxable status of each parcel of property. Since Mount Kisco is both a Town assessing unit and a Village assessing unit, two separate assessment rolls are prepared each year. The valuations determined by the Assessor are then used to apportion the amount of the Village, County and school taxes to be levied against each parcel of real estate.

To ensure that our assessment records reflect the most current mailing address and to ensure that our tax bills are sent to the correct address, please notify this office of any mailing address changes. The Assessor's Office is continually communicating with the public, answering questions and reviewing property data. Informal meetings with the assessor can resolve most assessment questions. To learn more about the assessment process, please call the Assessor at (914-864-0017 ) or e-mail at assessment@mountkiscony.gov.  You may also contact the NYS Office of Real Property Services for further information and forms.
